i would like to know why people have a HUGE problem with this. i am a black man married to a white girl. i love her with all of my heart. but others dont see that. they think that it is just a way to get back at my race. i have been called an uncle tom for this, a traitor, and about anything else you can think of. what is the problem with black men and white women being together.

Tell them that the last time you checked, your girlfriend is human, just like you are, meaning you are compatible. There is nothing wrong with dating outside your race. People need to get over color and religion and see that people are people.

I think the problem is that people are not open minded, see color as something more than it is and need to grow with the times!!! I think black men are absolutely beautiful and if I were single, I would be with a black man once again.

There is nothing wrong with people marrying outside their race. People who see fault with these types of relationships are ******. I am a African American female and I date a White man. I continue to tell people it is not what is on the outside but what is on the inside. So the people who call you a uncle tom or traitor are doing nothing but proving that we stay in a nation that have stupid ppl. It sad to see that after countless years of people dying and protesting that they can view you as a traitor.

a lot of people dont understand that marriage is for love, not for the color of our skin!!
it makes me mad when people act all ****** about a black and a white being together when they say nothing about someone american and someone irish being together!! it all goes back to our history .. which is another thing people should think about .. KEY WORD HISTORY!! History meaning past .. NOT present!!
Im with you on this issue. Im an asain american living slap dead in the middle of Alabama .. home of the skin heads, I happen to date those of African decent !! I get called things all the time and therefore I stick my nose in the air and keep on walking!! there’s no sense in fighting fire with fire, you only get a bigger fire!! So when they look at you funny, like do me, just look at them funny … that’s what i do !!

Nothing wrong. The most important in matters of the heart is love. Race, creed, colour, should not matter. We all belong to one race, and that’s The Human Race. All else is nothing really. Just love your wife to the max, and hope she loves you back the same.
